• Through this program, to identify the environmental problems of our division, to identify relevant and responsible institutions for it, to organize special programs to protect the environment together with community groups interested in environmental affairs and non-governmental organizations. Accomplishing many objectives such as environmental awareness.

• Providing legal permission to prosperous low-income families on Ja-Ala railway station road.Giving them legal permission to trade.
• Resource contribution by Negombo's non-specialist education unit for training programs on snacks

 Empowering women

• Organized a training program on beauty by contacting the Herbis Institute and educating the beneficiaries about local products. This has given support to fifteen women in the villages. Currently they are running their own salons.

Agriculture and Animal Husbandry

• Providing training in the Kotadiniya Animal Control Center. Pig rearing and breeding. Goat rearing. Dairy cattle rearing. Duck rearing and providing knowledge about chicken feed. Providing loans to needy beneficiaries by Samurddha Bank.

• By harvesting fallow fields, twenty acres of paddy fields were harvested in Ma Eliya Vasam and Bandikota Vasam.

• Educate farmers about vegetable cultivation in Niwandama Yakkadu domain and provide necessary fertilizers and equipment.Linkage with training institutes in biogas technology.

• taking the beneficiaries involved in the sewing course at Seethaka Park for a picnic under the Hith Mithru  programme.

• The fair program is held on the 25th of every month at the Ja-Ala Divisional Secretariat to meet the marketing needs of the entrepreneurs of the Regional Secretariat Division and also for the needs of the office workers.

Mee Tree Project

Mee plant planting program is a program that has been running for many years now. So far, a large number of Mee plants have been planted in Ja-Ela Division.
